Paddy Sun, a musician and guitarist born in 1990 in Dunhua, Jilin Province and now living in Beijing, was the composer of the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympic Games opening ceremony.

At 18, his guitar song "Sunflower" composed and played by himself gained popularity on the Internet, sparking a fingerstyle guitar boom in China. It has become a must-learn piece for many guitar lovers and a classic teaching track.

"Sunflower" is also called "the key to the boom of Vietnamese fingerstyle guitar" in Vietnam and covered by many Youtubers worldwide.

In 2016, Paddy Sun released his first guitar performance album "Sunflower" with original music such as "Binhai Road" and "Spruce in Clouds".

In 2018, he engaged in music composition work in Beijing. He was responsible for music in events such as the 2018 Shaanxi Provincial Games, the 2018 Jiangsu Provincial Games and the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympic Games.
